Summer Housing

Summer Housing for Western Students

Front of London Hall Photo

Select residence building(s) will be open from May 6 to August 22, 2021, for all Main Campus Western students in need of accommodation. This housing has been put in place to support students who cannot return home due to travel restrictions, health, personal circumstances or various obligations. For students registered at the Affiliated University Colleges, please check with your housing office for specific arrangements.

During the summer, if any student living in residence faces a period of isolation, quarantine or COVID-19 challenges, please visit here for residence supports during isolating or quarantine time

Room Rate

To support physical distancing, students will be placed in London Hall, a suite-style residence building. There are three-bedroom suites available, where two students who request to be placed together will have their own private washroom and a single bedroom. The two-bedroom suite will be occupied by one student, so that student will have a private washroom and a single bedroom. Each suite also has a kitchenette and a living area.

  • Monthly rate: $600/month

Room rate is based on a price-recovery model to cover our basic operational costs. We understand summer accommodations are likely an unbudgeted expense for many of our students who are unable to return home.

Please note a minimum stay of one month is required. For additional days, a prorated rate will be applied.
